Hope, Steps and a Cure 5K Run/Walk, Saturday, April 25th at Shoreline Village Long Beach 8:00 am is a fundraising and awareness event to benefit the Aplastic Anemia & MDS International Foundation and will be a day of fun & remembrance while connecting with fellow patients and families living with bone marrow failure diseases or who have lost a loved one to these rare diseases.

The Most Beautiful Running Course Available in LA! The 5K will be starting in front of Shoreline Village and take a turn to run along the Esplanade at Rainbow Harbor toward the Shoreline Aquatic Park, passing by the Aquarium of the Pacific and back to Shoreline Village.

The event will also include: Silent auction •  Inspirational guest speakers •  Moment of Remembrance •  Art projects for kids •  Music •  Be the Match signups •  Lunch and refreshments

Top Prizes: $100 cash prize for male and female who break last year’s time. The top male time was 18:45.20; the top female time was 23:23.60.

All other awards will be given for 1st Master M/F and then by age group in five-year increments starting with age 14 and under up to 70+.
