Course Description

Your 13.1-mile tour of the Sunset Strip and its raucous neighbors kicks off at the foot of the famed Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood’s Design District. The first leg is a tribute to excess that takes you past the high-end shops of Melrose Ave, then down La Cienega Blvd towards another pillar of glitz and glamor, the Beverly Center. Next, a quick jaunt on Beverly Blvd gets you warmed up for the main event: a 200-foot climb up San Vicente Blvd that’s rewarded with the spoils of the Sunset Strip. This is why you came: revel in the iconic clubs and hallowed haunts that line this headlining out-and-back along Sunset Blvd. Then gather some downhill speed on your return to San Vicente for an encore out-and-back along historic Santa Monica Blvd. Get the last of your kicks on Route 66, the home stretch that leads you back into the heart of WeHo. Your tour wraps up with a loud finish at the starting line where local businesses will be throwing a party fit for the Zeppelin boys themselves.

The 5K route cuts straight to the main act: the steep climb up San Vicente, followed by the Sunset Strip’s greatest hits and the mighty downhill that will send you soaring through the tape and into the Finish Line Festival.
