The Santa Monica Pier provides a breathtaking start for the athletes before they compete in the stunning Pacific Ocean. Our 1.2 mile ocean swim is a spectacular event for amateur & Masters swimmers and multi-sport athletes. Registration includes entry into the Splash N’ Dash, a 400m swim followed by a 400m run on the beach. This two-day event is part of the 10th annual Santa Monica Pier 360 (formerly known as the Ocean Festival), featuring a variety of ocean sports, skateboarding, volleyball and an epic beach festival on the Santa Monica Pier.
There are many ways to participate: Short Course Paddle, Long Course Paddle, Elite Races, SUP / Paddleboard Knockout, Ocean Swimming Events, Volleyball and Skateboarding. On the Pier Deck and beach, participants and spectators will enjoy the Beach Festival featuring live music, Polynesian dancing, food, Beer & Spirits Garden and a one of-a-kind Museum of Beach Culture, featuring surf & skate history from the past 100 years!

Ragnar Trail Tahoe is back on July 12-13 with new trails and a new venue, but the same great Tahoe adventure. Set up camp at the base of Sugar Bowl Ski Resort and experience the beauty and challenge of the Sierra Nevada Mountains.
Teams will test their limits — relay-style — on three all new sublimely groomed trails with some incredible scenery that will take your breath away. Run along sweeping vistas and towering pines with steep hill climbs and epic views of Donner Lake, under the warm California sun.
When you’re not running, you’ll be camping at Ragnar Village where you’ll party around the huge bonfire and bond with your teammates. With fireside stories, s’mores, and food options from the Resort, this may be our best village yet!
The race starts Friday but Ragnar Village opens on Thursday night for a bonus day of camping with friends, turning this into a full-blown three-day event. Start working on your downhill running and your campfire ghost storytelling now, because this is an event you don’t want to miss!

Escape the city for an unforgettable running adventure at Ragnar Trail Rainier-WA, August 23-24. Your team of 8 runners (or ultra-team of 4) will conquer the trails at Crystal Mountain, just two hours outside of Seattle.
Set up camp at Ragnar Village and tackle a series of three trail loops on National Forest land conquering the course relay-style for two days and one night. That’s right, the race doesn’t stop when the sun goes down so be prepared to run through the night where your headlamp and a blanket of a billions stars will illuminate your path.
These trails are some of the most challenging in the series (think 2,700 feet of climbing). With epic views of Mt. Rainier, high mountain alpine lakes, waterfalls and flowing creeks, the beauty will make every step of the journey worth it.
When you’re not running, you’ll be cheering runners as they come back into the village, partying around the campfire, roasting s’more, sharing stories and enjoying the festival atmosphere at Ragnar Village.

WHAT IS IT?
SWIMRUN is an exciting new sport sweeping the world; with a hint of adventure racing and flair of the multi-sport similar to a triathlon. Steeped in Swedish legend and solid foundation, as with all great sports, based on a drunken bar bet.You race in 2 person teams required to race together. You are challenged with a mix of alternating running and swimming legs. You are required to start and finish the race with all your gear, whatever you choose. Our sprint SWIMRUN will consist of 7 legs of running and swimming with 10.3 km (6.4 mi) of total racing distance.

Prize PurseFor 2019 we have a $1,500 prize purse for this event. $500 will be awarded to the fastest overall teams in the All Male, All Female & Mixed category.
