Heroes in Recovery 6K returns to Palm Springs for it’s seventh year on Sunday January 27, 2019!

The Palm Springs Heroes in Recovery 6K is a unique run/walk presented by Michael’s House and will benefit SafeHouse of the Desert. 

Heroes in Recovery 6K is a unique run/walk that brings together those in recovery from substance use, their loved ones, supporters of the cause and the local community in an effort to break the stigma surrounding addiction and mental health conditions. It takes a heroic effort to live clean and sober each day, and the Heroes in Recovery movement celebrates that effort. The sixth kilometer separates a Heroes 6K race from a typical 5K to symbolize the extra effort it takes to sustain recovery. 

Each registered participant will receive:

– Unique 6K finisher’s medal
– Race shirt
– Souvenir bib
– Reusable tote bag
