How about an awesome, fun 5k walk/run and/or bike ride on Valentine’s Day? Bring your fun (costumes encouraged!) for a great time on the beachfront Strand and the Oceanside Pier, along with bike tours to Mission San Luis Rey and the Prince of Peace Abbey.
Enjoy the amazing Oceanside Pier views and make it leisurely, or go for one of the age group or costume prizes. Celebrate with chocolate, bubbly, costume contest fun and all things love at the finish line at City Hall in Oceanside!
Get unique Valentine finisher beanies and bracelets, take a photo by the nation’s biggest inflatable heart and enjoy food, drink, music and fun with fellow participants, family and friends.
Run, walk and bike to your heart’s content. Beginning at 7:30 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 14, the Oceanside Valentine 5K is a run or walk by the beach and over the Pier. Meanwhile, the Oceanside Valentine Bike is a 5, 14 or 25-mile ride around the Strand and out to Mission San Luis Rey and back. Start time is 11:30 a.m. Join in the heart-pounding fun of the premier athletic events of Oceanside Valentine’s Week.
