TheFitExpo 5K

TheFitExpo strives to have a diverse group of events and competitions at each expo. From martial arts, to cross fit, to strength contests and body building competitions, we endeavor to do it all. So, we are excited to announce the newest addition to our 13th annual FitExpo Los Angeles, TheFitExpo 5k, Reps ‘n’ Run and Kids Fun Run taking place on Sunday, January 24th, 2016, rain or shine.

The 5k race is a 3.1 mile walk/run. Downtown Los Angeles is a long place of business, international trade, entertainment, culture, fashion, science, and sports. Get a peek at what DTLA has to offer by participating in these events, which start at the Los Angeles Convention Center down Figueroa towards the USC campus and back. Each finisher will receive a T-Shirt and Medal.

Reps “n” Run

Looking for an additional challenge? Take part in TheFitExpo Reps ‘n’ Run. This event tests overall fitness by measuring both strength and endurance. Run in the 5k and then compete in 3 exercises for maximum reps. You will be asked to complete as many judge approved reps of Pull Ups, Jump Squats and Push Ups in 60 seconds (in that order, with a 60 second break in between each exercise). The male and female with the fastest 5k time combined with most amount of approved reps will received a cash prize of $300. (For example, if you complete the 5k in 20 minutes and 05 seconds, that time (or 20.05 pts) will be deducted from your total combined reps score (160 – 20.05) = 139.95. If you finish the 5k in 36 minutes deduct that from your 170 reps for a total of 134 pts. This field will be restricted to 150 participants. Each finisher will receive a T-Shirt and Medal. Registration to this event also includes a weekend pass ($45 value) to TheFitExpo.

Kids Fun Run

Kids Fun Run will start at 9:30am and is for runners 12 years and younger. Includes medal, T-Shirt and FitExpo weekend pass.
